My Hubby's Trip to Quebec.

My husband was telling me about his younger days, before we were married and he was a wild thing. He was living in Vancouver and his roommate wanted to return to his home province of Quebec. Hubby was a free spirit and said he would go along since he had never been there and would like to see it.

They bought train tickets and boarded. They heard there was a party going on in the observation car. They joined in the fun and hubby said the next thing he remembered was waking up in an apartment in Calgary, Alberta. Here is a map showing how far they got.
Vancouver is on the far left bottom of Canada, Calgary is not too far from it to the right and Quebec is way over near the pink on the far right.

My husband said he woke up, looked around and saw his buddy and two girls. "Where are we?" he asked one of the girls. "Calgary," she answered.

Dan told me, "The train doesn't even go to Calgary," and laughed. "It stops at Edmonton." He doesn't remember how they got there. I asked him what they did then. He said, "We got jobs and lived with the girls for awhile."

My hubby has changed. He likes everything planned, no surprises and he doesn't drink any more. But there was a time...
