I was out all day and evening so I'll have to catch up with everyone tomorrow.
My daughter Sandy had an operation to take out a wisdom tooth that was buried deep in her jaw somewhere. They gave her dire predictions on how bad the operation might be and that she would probably have permanent numbness and perhaps drooping of her mouth. They said they may have to break her jaw and wire it together after.
Here she is after the procedure:
She looks great doesn't she? No numbness, no drooping. They didn't have to break her jaw.
The whole family was praying for her and we were so thankful everything went well.
The surgeon said when he cut her open the tooth wasn't where it was supposed to be but in a much better position. We are very thankful to God.
She looks like one of those old cartoons or old movies when they would put bandages on people like that! We went to see her today and cooked and cleaned for her. She is doing so well. She can talk and eat soup and mush. She had mashed potatoes with ketchup today and soup.
We have another invalid in the family.
My granddaughter Faith
She was holding one of the cats while walking down the stairs. She stepped on another cat and fell. Her ankle isn't broken; it is sprained. She is being a trooper about it. She never lets anything stop her!
Have a great Friday!
