Nice to Meet You and Your Spider.

My daughter Christine thought she might like to sell Avon. She made an appointment with the local Avon representative to meet at a coffee shop.

As she walked out the door of our house, she brushed by the Halloween decorations that were on the doorway. A plastic spider and a long piece of web stuck to her hair. Off she drove to the coffee shop blissfully unaware of what had happened.

She entered the shop and the Avon woman saw the spider. She said, "You have a spider in your hair!"

She tried to brush it off for Christine, but the web got tangled in her fingers. She started screaming and then said, "It's a plastic spider!"

Yes, yes it was. Christine felt bad for her. She also got hired to sell Avon. All of us women in the family poured through the books. I saw a watch I want that is only $20.

My granddaughter Faith wants to help Christine sell Avon but wants all the money for herself. Christine said said no, but if she helps deliver the books and orders she will get half the profit. Christine wants this job to buy clothes for the girls and Faith can do that with her half if she wants to.
