Hope: "The idea for the Avengers is just stupid. You can't put all these super heroes into the same timeline and space. Why would they do that?"
Cherish: "It was Stan Lee's idea. He was a genius. How can you criticize him?"
Hope: "It's a stupid idea and I don't care who thought of it. How can you put Thor, who is a god, with Iron Man who has powers because he wears a suit? Iron Man is smart, but he isn't a god or a guy like Superman who has powers that were given to him naturally."
Cherish: "You don't know what you're talking about."
Hope: "I didn't ask for your opinion."
Cherish: "Yes you did. You asked why they were making Avengers."
Later, I said to Christine, " I don't like it either. I think the world would feel all crowded with super heroes. It isn't natural. I like the idea of one per planet. Superman is enough for me. I wasn't all that happy when his cousin Supergirl came along."
Christine: "Well, you can tell Hope that because that's how she feels. She'll be very happy."
I will tell Hope. This is important stuff.
