A Drive in the Country.

My grandson is now laid to rest and we had a celebration of his life. More than 200 young people came. We have learned from his friends how much he helped them. Some of the kids he went to elementary school with came from Vancouver. Everyone remarked on his kindness and his wonderful smile.

My cousin Lance and his wife Donna took us for a long drive yesterday. It was such a beautiful day and it was nice to get out of town.

The farmers get two or three crops of hay during the summer.

We saw this deer running through the forest.

A bird's nest in the crook of a tree.

These were growing on the tree. So interesting!

We came to Shuswap Falls. It powers the electricity for miles around.

Canadians are freaks about safety. They put up fences all around so no one gets hurt.

This is the lookout.

It is a small falls, but pretty.

We thought this guy was over packing. There were even bales in the front and we wondered how he could see!

It was a lovely, restful day.
