We heard from the coroner today. My grandson died of congestion in his lungs from asthma. This is what my brother died from. Craig had a bad cold for a week, his mom asked if he wanted to go to the doctor but he said no. He did have asthma sprays but rarely needed to use them - only once or twice a year, so this news was surprising.
They told us he died peacefully, with no pain and no knowledge of what was happening. They said they can tell this by a person's hands. We were grateful to hear this.
Christine called a reporter to thank him for the nice story he ran in the newspaper. He told her that everyone he interviewed had only good things to say about Craig.
Thank you so much for your love and support my dear friends. I won't be writing about Craig any more. I'm not sure when I will begin blogging again, but I'm sure I will one day. We are all doing well because God is our help and strength.
I can never find the words to thank you all.

"I Am the Resurrection and the Life."
Jesus, "Do not let your hearts be troubled; believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many dwelling places; if it were not so, I would have told you; for I go to prepare a place for you. If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back again and take you to myself, so that where I live, there you may be also."
Thomas, "Lord, we do not know where you are going, how do we know the way?"
Jesus, "I am the way, the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through me."
John 14:1-6
Martha, "Lord, if you had been here, my brother would not have died. Even now I know whatever you ask of God he will give it to you."
Jesus, "Your brother will rise again."
Martha, "I know he will rise again in the resurrection on the last day."
Jesus, "I am the resurrection and the life; he who believes in me will live even if he dies, and everyone who lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?"
Martha, "Yes, Lord; I have believed that you are the Christ, the Son of God who has come into the world."
John 11:21-27
