New Sculpture in Kelowna.

This is just one marina on the Okanagan Lake in Kelowna, where I live.

This is a brand new sculpture at the marina and park. My daughter Christine took all these pictures. The word Kelowna means "grizzly bear," in the Okanagan First Nations language.

It was created by American artist Brower Hatcher who is from Rhode Island.

I think he did a beautiful job.

This is what it looks like from the inside. There are different objects hanging off the metal.

I think it is a majestic piece of art and I am glad our city bought it. It was purchased for $160,000. Well, at least that artist won't be on unemployment for a while, and that money will help the economy.
