Aloha!

The Red Cross phoned me the other day. We give a bit of money to them every month, so once in awhile they call and let us know what shape the world is in. By the she was finished telling me about all the latest disasters I was ready to donate my first-born child.

During our conversation she said, "Did you know that the 2006 tsunami moved the world's axis?"
Why no, I didn't.
"Yes, and soon Canada might have tropical weather."
"Well," I thought, "there's a silver lining to every cloud."


After we hung up, I looked all this up on google and sure enough - the world moved. One site said that time had changed by one minute. Who knows what will happen, but I'm not too worried because I happen to live in Canada!

Whether Canada will become the next tropical paradise I don't know. But I've decided to learn the hula and practic roasting pigs in a pit in the back yard just in case.
